People come first at D&B. The safety of our employees, Trade Partners, and clients is always paramount in our project’s preparation and execution. We know when you truly care about the people around you and treat them right, success is almost guaranteed. Safety will always be a top priority and central tenet of our business. Simply put, safety is our standard.

 

 

 

 

D&B Construction’s safety program is built upon the idea that we all need to be on the same page for a safety program to work. We take the team approach to a new level with a safety committee that meets monthly. Weekly on-site safety meetings are held at all of our project sites. D&B also works closely with our OSHA-certified managers, including our Safety Director, to make sure all team members are meeting and exceeding federal requirements for workplace safety.

 

On-going safety training is provided to all of our D&B team members to help everyone meet our stringent standards. Our Trade Partners are also extremely well vetted by our own OSHA-certified managers to ensure they meet federal standards and to make sure safety is also a part of their workplace culture. Not only does our safety program save lives, it also saves our clients’ money and time. We work hard to ensure each project is finished without incident, and therefore on time and within budget.

 

Team D&B learns about harness and fall protection, scaffolding and guard rails, and working in confined spaces during an on-site safety meeting.

At every monthly safety meeting one of our Superintendents is responsible for presenting on a specific safety topic. To keep all of our team members engaged, the Superintendent provides a Toolbox Talk Discussion, any special guests, and safety posters. We also host on-site safety meetings to offer our team training on site-specific safety conditions. Learn about some of the topics we discuss below.
