Plans are in place for the construction of this pre-engineered metal building. The project will also include a 3,500 SF mezzanine with a relaxed atmosphere. On the first floor you will find an open lobby with auto storage for approximately 50 vehicles, monumental stairs, an 18' diameter turntable, and elevator access. A 15' x 15' prep kitchen with access to dry storage, beer cooler, two person office with a window facing the lobby, and toilet, sprinkler, and electric service rooms complete this floor.
In the mezzanine you will find a bar / party loft overlooking the automobiles below, cigar lounge, lobby and smoking area with balcony access, two restrooms, storage space, and a janitor's closet. The monumental stairs lead to a glassed bridge that overlooks the turntable with access to the lookout. A motorcycle display area completes the space, with an elevator sized to accommodate transporting these vehicles to the second floor.
This was a multi-phase design-build project that entailed utility separation between two sides of the building. Ample renovations were also completed for Berks Technical Institute. Phase one involved renovations to the conference room and entry lobby / reception area, while phase two entailed renovating the usable rooms upstairs, which included the library, the lecture hall, CDL classroom, mail room, and four bathrooms. Updates to the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical labs were also completed during operating school hours.
D&B Construction is once again completing work for our client, Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists. We are about to start renovating this space to create a modern orthopedic office. Once complete, this design build project will include four offices, four exam rooms, a lab, an expanded waiting / reception area, and an updated breakroom area for employees. This is the fourth project that Team D&B is completing for Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists. Our first job for BCOS was a 14,000 SF office fit-out which involved consolidating three separate offices into one large fully-integrated suite that houses both their orthopedic practice and Fitness Physical Therapy division. D&B Construction completed an office fit out for D.R. Horton, America’s largest home builder. Demo began at the start of December 2021. The transformed space provides more room for the company's New Jersey Operations office as they continue to grow and evolve. Nineteen offices and 25 new cubicle spaces were added, allowing for over 5,000 SF of additional office space to the building. A Fitness center, two spacious training rooms (in addition to the four conference rooms already existing), a break room, and ample storage space complete the office. The space also received new flooring and lighting throughout.

D&B Construction worked with Berger Rental Communities once more for the completion of their new headquarters in the West Valley Business Center. After having just completed the Willowbrook Clubhouse for one of the company’s multi-family rental properties, we were excited to have the opportunity to create a beautiful new space for them to call their own. One of our project managers, Lesley, actively helped them bring their dream office to life.
Construction on this design-build project began in December of 2020 and was completed in just five months. The original office space was split into two suites, so our team broke through to combine them and create a larger space. Today, employees and visitors alike are greeted by a stunning, sleek waiting area when they arrive. Other highlights of the project include a relaxed collaborative room and an upscale conference room, which includes upgraded technology such as a specific wall mounted camera with multiple speakers in the ceiling. A training room, kitchen, and 26 private offices and open office space also make up the floorplan.
D&B Construction completed construction on Kountry Kraft Custom Cabinetry's office and showroom while the company was open for normal operations. Located in Newmanstown, PA, this job focused on functionality to create a more open, modern workspace. It included façade and interior renovations to transform the company’s waiting area into a more open space that easily transitioned into a spacious corridor. The new layout allowed for the addition of a foyer and three new offices. Another highlight of this project was the evolution of their conference room, which transformed into a design focal point through the addition of glass walls.
The Goddard School provides a high-quality, play-based learning program that is trusted by families throughout the United States. With over 525 locations throughout 38 states, this new early childhood development center is expected to have 10 classrooms capable of occupying up to 152 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old. This 1.5-acre lot will include an outdoor area for both toddlers and pre-school aged children.
D&B Construction has been trusted as the general contractor for this ground-up construction project. In addition to the 10 classrooms, the project also involves the construction of a gym / multi-purpose room, a kitchen / pantry, private staff area, offices, and many restrooms. Demolition of a restaurant that had been vacant at this location for nearly 15 years began at the end of June 2022.
D&B Construction was trusted to build a clubhouse from the ground up for Willowbrook Apartments, a multi-family community located in Delaware County. The Willowbrook Clubhouse brings luxurious amenities to all of this apartment complex’s residents. It features a swimming pool, gym, large community room and two porches for relaxing, with handicap accessibility in mind. Six offices were also included in the design of this building, along with a waiting / gallery area, spacious conference room, and two restrooms.
The Willowbrook Clubhouse is owned and operated by Berger Rental Communities, a real estate rental agency headquartered in Chester County. This project broke ground in June of 2020 and was completed in 8 months.
D&B Construction is currently completing construction in the heart of Wyomissing, PA. This design-build core and shell project entails a high-end commercial office renovation. The restoration of the exterior and interior of this five-story building, which was part of the original Wyomissing Industries, will make way for Stratix Systems' new headquarters. Demolition work completed for this project included the removal of all interior furnishings and MEP's, removal of sprinkler and fire alarm systems, asbestos abatement, removal of existing EIFS and aluminum windows, removal of roofing system and entrance vestibules / porticos.
New construction includes an upgraded exterior insulation finish system, enlarged aluminum windows, 5-story storefront entrance with stairs and two passenger elevators. A freight elevator and loading docks are also being added, and the fifth floor is receiving an expansion. Upgraded MEP's, NFPA 13 sprinkler and fire alarm systems, and a complete new roof system with roof top terrace are also being added.
Given the intricacies of this project, a full site specific safety plan was created and implemented for this project, including bi-weekly JSA/JHA, weekly site meetings, confined space training and regularly scheduled scaffolding inspections.
D&B Construction was selected to perform a complete design-build fit out for Carlino Commercial. This project included the removal of 4,000 SF of the left side of the building, which was re-built. We excavated and removed 10,000 SF, eight feet down of slag soils and remediate, and excavated around the entire exterior of the building to remediate soils. A new 10,000 SF crawl space was also added. The first-floor curtain walls were removed and replaced, and we rebuilt with a new brick façade. All building windows were also replaced. Landscaping, entry ways, roof and coping, columns, and common areas, including bathrooms and lobbies, were also updated.

This high end fit out features stacked stone walls and glass walls that create an open concept appeal. We enjoyed building contemporary conference rooms and offices, a utility room, and an inviting kitchenette/break room that will allow this benefits consulting firm to perform its best while impressing their clients.
D&B Construction completed a design-build project creating a modern and upscale educational facility for The Morgan School, which serves clients in the Exeter, Mt. Penn, Daniel Boone, Amity, and Pottstown areas. Prior to starting the ground-up construction, Team D&B demolished an existing two-story residential dwelling to allow space for this new cutting-edge daycare facility. The project included designing and building classrooms and facilities for children and adults. The exterior stone wall is a highlight of this project.
