D&B Construction facilitated work on Nonno Alby’s, a delicious handcrafted wood oven pizza restaurant in West Reading, Pa. The project included the installation of a new kitchen and eating area, along with new flooring, lighting and trim. Highlights include granite counters at the bar area and a custom brick pizza oven. D&B Construction converted an old bakery into an up-and-coming brewery and tasting room. A lot of custom features can be found in this renovation, including the gear artwork, brick wall, trim, and a DIY custom bar top with $270 worth of pennies in resin. Team D&B completed kitchen equipment installation as well.

SHEEX is a textile manufacturer that created the world’s first Performance Sheets. D&B Construction was the general contractor put in charge of the interior retail construction of their brick and mortar store located inside the East Coast’s largest shopping mall, King of Prussia Mall. Highlights from this project included wrapping the store’s entire interior, installing all displays and custom logo and signage throughout the store.

D&B Construction was responsible for Sparta Gas Station’s design-build project from the ground up. The project involved gas pump stations and Sparta’s convenience store building. The convenience store is highlighted by hardwood-look laminate flooring throughout, a fridge and freezer wall, beverage station, and an industrial kitchen, allowing the business to quickly and efficiently fulfill made-to-order food requests.

D&B Construction completed a full interior renovation of the men’s locker room at Gold’s Gym, a large chain fitness gym. This project included a complete overhaul of the locker room, highlighted by fully tiled showers and floors. We also completed an overhaul of the changing area and lockers and completely renovated the sauna.

At the end of November 2021, we started construction for our client, MEH Investments. Construction involved renovating what used to be the popular San Marco Ristorante (and was originally a school house for the Ambler community). Today you'll find a new up and coming Italian influenced restaurant and bar, TRESINI. Sourcing regional ingredients, this restaurant creates "imaginative exclusive dishes alongside modernized interpretations of classic recipes." 

The completed space features two dining areas, a private dining section and bar area, kitchen and walk in refrigerator, restrooms, and a reception and vestibule area. The restrooms and bar are both ADA compliant. Highlights of this project included exposing the existing stone wall, taking a wall down to open up the dining area, ceiling renovations, trim / woodwork, restoration to the original doors, and adding a wooden beam to create a "rustically refined" dining experience. You'll find upgraded electrical work, all new plumbing in the building (courtesy of our Trade Partner, Wendig Plumbing), and new flooring completed by About All Floors throughout the space. Exterior renovations included a new shingled roof, fresh paint, and new windows.

D&B Construction was trusted as the general contractor to provide a facelift to Redner’s Market, allowing this growing local grocery store chain to provide a more customer-friendly and updated appearance at their Reading location. We added a metal roof, stucco exterior façade, and updated lighting. An additional front entry, foyer, and main entrance to the building was also built.

D&B Construction was the general contractor for this complete interior construction project completed for Benjamin Moore's retail store. Highlights from the project included new flooring, lighting, HVAC, and bathrooms.

D&B Construction completed an interior construction project for Iron Roots Salon, transforming it into a New York-style salon. We achieved the client’s wishes of upgrading its retail establishment with modern and contemporary features by adding wood accent walls and a custom reception area, allowing the salon to provide even better service to its customers. The remodel also featured the addition of a nail salon to give the location a more spa-like experience.

D&B Construction renovated the retail and office space for Fromuth Tennis. Highlights included new bathrooms, a redesigned conference room, and a remodeled retail space to impress new and returning customers alike.

D&B Construction renovated and restored an indoor family entertainment facility, The Works in Wyomissing, which opened in April 2003. The building is a 150-year-old textile building that we turned into a multi-million-dollar arcade and gaming entertainment zone with a restaurant and bar. In the family entertainment area, you’ll find the well-known “Ballocity,” a two-story climbing and foam ball play structure for children, as well as a large arcade and game room below. The restaurant and bar area can seat up to 250 guests and features a large fireplace with a floor-to-ceiling stone façade and pizza oven. The Works also features numerous party rooms for private events, making it clear why this local attraction is geared for fun.
