Project brief

This project included exterior site improvements, such as mill and overlay to the parking lot, reconstructing entrances, painting the entire building, replacing storefront and doors to main entrance, replacing entry lights, and new metal canopies at the front and rear entrances of the building. Landscaping improvements also took place.

The interior common corridors on the first and second floor received new floor covering, ceiling tile, LED lighting, updated stair handrails, and fresh paint.

On the first floor, a large office-fit out took place for D&B Construction’s new corporate office. The space includes nearly 1,000 SF of garage and work room space. A modern reception area, three conference room spaces, a training room, large lounge area, and kitchen / pantry complete the space. The 32 offices throughout the space feature modern glass walls and doors, in addition to touchdown areas for site supervisors and field staff. Additional office fit-outs will be taking place for other building tenants.

D&B Construction began mobilization for an office fit-out for Kreitz Gallen-Schutt Attorneys' Wyomissing location at the start of January 2022. This design-build project also included a 600 SF expansion of the existing office.

D.R. Horton Office

Project brief

D&B Construction completed an office fit out for D.R. Horton, America’s largest home builder. Demo began at the start of December 2021. The transformed space provides more room for the company's New Jersey Operations office as they continue to grow and evolve. Nineteen offices and 25 new cubicle spaces were added, allowing for over 5,000 SF of additional office space to the building. A Fitness center, two spacious training rooms (in addition to the four conference rooms already existing), a breakroom, and ample storage space complete the office. The space also received new flooring and lighting throughout.

Berger Rental Communities Headquarters

Project brief

D&B Construction worked with Berger Rental Communities once more for the completion of their new headquarters in the West Valley Business Center. After having just completed the Willowbrook Clubhouse for one of the company’s multi-family rental properties, we were excited to have the opportunity to create a beautiful new space for them to call their own. One of our project managers, Lesley, actively helped them bring their dream office to life.

Construction on this design-build project began in December of 2020 and was completed in just five months. The original office space was split into two suites, so our team broke through to combine them and create a larger space. Today, employees and visitors alike are greeted by a stunning, sleek waiting area when they arrive. Other highlights of the project include a relaxed collaborative room and an upscale conference room, which includes upgraded technology such as a specific wall mounted camera with multiple speakers in the ceiling. A training room, kitchen, and 26 private offices and open office space also make up the floorplan.

Kountry Kraft Custom Cabinetry

Project brief

D&B Construction completed construction on Kountry Kraft Custom Cabinetry's office and showroom while the company was open for normal operations. Located in Newmanstown, PA, this job focused on functionality to create a more open, modern workspace. It included façade and interior renovations to transform the company’s waiting area into a more open space that easily transitioned into a spacious corridor. The new layout allowed for the addition of a foyer and three new offices. Another highlight of this project was the evolution of their conference room, which transformed into a design focal point through the addition of glass walls.

S&T Bank

Project brief

S&T Bank was another client so pleased with D&B Construction’s work that they hired them for more than one project. In addition to providing exterior renovations to S&T Bank’s East Falls location, we also completed an office fit-out for S&T Bank’s Wyomissing location. This fit-out involved working with the landlord and tenant to complete this design-build project. The project included updating office space, waiting area, conference room and break area.

Carlino Development Group

Project brief

Carlino Commercial Development hired D&B Construction to fit out its office space. D&B Construction completely gutted the facility and added new offices, a conference room, a private bathroom, kitchen, fitness gym, and reception area. The office features include custom cabinetry throughout, granite countertops and tile backsplash, as well as a custom private shower. D&B Construction also added sound proof walls throughout the office space.

Project brief

D&B Construction was selected to perform a complete design-build fit out for Carlino Commercial. This project included the removal of 4,000 SF of the left side of the building, which was re-built. We excavated and removed 10,000 SF, eight feet down of slag soils and remediate, and excavated around the entire exterior of the building to remediate soils. A new 10,000 SF crawl space was also added. The first-floor curtain walls were removed and replaced, and we rebuilt with a new brick façade. All building windows were also replaced. Landscaping, entry ways, roof and coping, columns, and common areas, including bathrooms and lobbies, were also updated.

D&B Construction provided complete construction management services in the land development and pre-construction phases for this direct mail advertising company. In addition to building this modern 15,000 square foot office space, Mail Shark also trusted D&B Construction as the general contractor to build a new 24,000 square foot warehouse and remodel the existing 24,000 square foot warehouse.

Business Park at Maidencreek

Project brief

D&B Construction was contracted by GSP Properties, LLC for an expansive ground-up design-build project that broke ground in March of 2019. The 22 unit Business Park at Maidencreek is located in the former location of Riedel’s Nursery. GSP Properties developed this plan with the small business entrepreneur in mind, offering viable options for owners to leverage the economies of scale in new work spaces that will assist in moving their businesses forward. The exterior design is versatile and innovative, including buildings with and without garage doors and warehouse space.

All 11 buildings are divided into two units of 1,500 square feet, and depending on tenant needs other options for subdivision are available. The site sits on five pristine acres of land on one of the busiest corridors in eastern Pennsylvania.
